EASL attended the IMechE Formula Student Event that MMU Racing held at Manchester Metropolitan University on Wednesday 30th October. The event was held for sponsors to come along and mix with the team and other sponsors, to learn about how the team developed its design and to view the MMU Racing car that they made from scratch and raced at Silverstone, earlier this year, FURTUNA.
As proud sponsors of MMU Racing since 2018/19, we were extremely keen to attend the event as we enjoy keeping up-to-date with things they are doing and events that are being held. Two of the EASL team members who attended the event are former members of the MMU Racing team and still like to maintain close involvement with the team because of their passion for car racing. The event was extremely interesting and inspiring, we had the opportunity to talk to some highly motivated and knowledgeable engineers who we look forward to watching on their journey with MMU Racing in the upcoming year. We also had a chance to talk to other sponsors at the event and share our common interest in car racing with each other, as well as getting to know them.
We are proud members of IMechE so we are always keen to attend events that they are a part of. We look forward to the next one and the upcoming year for MMU Racing, where we wish them every success.
