Matthew Currie Senior Engineer

Matthew graduated in 2011 from The University of Manchester with a Master’s degree in Physics. He started his journey with EASL in 2013 as a Graduate Engineer, and now he is a Senior Engineer. Matt is one of the tutors on the EASL ‘classical strength of materials’ training course.

Specialisms include:

• Finite element analysis (FEA) experience in ABAQUS
• Utilizing FEA to conduct stress analysis on various components subjected to mechanical, static, dynamic and thermal loading
• Extensive experience in component life assessment and pipework support surveys.
